Diane E. Kootcher

(Nee Helmer) Peacefully passed on Sunday, October 29, 2017, age 75, surrounded by family, at Manor Care in Voorhees, formerly of Westmont, NJ.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph K. Kootcher.  Loving mother of Melissa Rappa (Steve) of Farmingville, NY and Joseph P. (Heather) of Collingswood, NJ.  Cherished sister of Dennis P. Helmer and his wife Mary Ann of Westmont, NJ.  Proud grandmother of Alexa Rappa and Franki, Zachary & Tyler Kootcher.  Dear aunt of Dennis M. Helmer, Elaine M. Helmer and Mary M. Wister (Thomas), Joan Stetser (Scott) and Leanne Lacovara (Nick). Sister-in-law of Judith Archible and Jerry Kootcher.

Diane graduated from St. Mary of the Angels in Haddonfield and went on to become an X-ray Technologist at Cooper Hospital.  She enjoyed time with friends and family over the years, down at the Cabin and in her Westmont home.  Diane was a lifelong member of the Westmont Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, as well as a Red Hat member.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Visitation Thursday, from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish HOLY SAVIOUR CHURCH, 50 Emerald Ave., Westmont, NJ, funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM.

Interment will be private.
