Cynthia A. Refolo

(nee Gutierrez) Cindy passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 66, of Haddon Township, NJ.

Beloved wife of 41 years to Perry J. Refolo. Loving mother of John P. Refolo (Nicole) of Louisville, KY and Alyssa M. Childs (Andrew) of Cherry Hill, NJ. Dear sister of Claudia Smith (Mike) of Blanco, TX, Larry Gutierrez of Houston, TX and Camille Eitleman (Todd) of Houston, TX. Adoring Abuela of Amelia Childs and Elle Refolo. Also survived by several nieces & nephews.

Cindy graduated from Delmar College in Corpus Christi as an LPN, later to become an RN and eventually received her BSN from Immaculata University.  As an RN she worked with Dialysis, Phoresis, PACU patients and finally as the nursing director for an out patient surgical unit. Her career spanned 40 years, from Texas to Nevada and eventually in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with Haddonfield Family Practice, Cooper Hospital, Jefferson Hospital, and finally Premier Surgical Center.  Cindy was an active volunteer with her church’s Altar Guild & fundraisers. She often could be found in the HTHS concession stand during football games and was very involved in the Stoy School PTA. Cindy was an outgoing and loving person, making friends and connections with almost everyone she met.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends and especially girl’s weekends in Cape May and Saturday morning coffee time. Her love for her family was most important to her, making memories on Long Beach Island.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday, August 27th 10 to 11 AM at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 18 White Horse Pike and Green Street, Haddon Heights, NJ, where her memorial service will begin at 11 AM.

Interment immediately following service in the Memorial Garden.
