Clarence "Tom" Bragg

Tom passed unexpectedly on March 8, 2025, of Maple Shade, NJ, formerly of Moorestown, NJ. Loving father of Bonni J. Eichmann (Eric) of Collingswood, NJ, Dale P. Bragg of Maple Shade and Timothy W. Bragg (Bea Wiltse) of Pemberton, NJ. Dear brother of Jane K. Bragg of Marlboro, NJ and the late Linda Scouler. Loved by many extended family members.

As a fourth generation Fire fighter, Tom was a member of the Lenola Volunteer Fire Company Station 313 for 64 years and was a Fire Instructor at Burlington County Fire Academy. He was focused on making sure the next generation of Firefighters had the best training available.

Tom was a US Navy Veteran serving from 1963 – 1966 during the Vietnam War, serving as a Fire fighter (shock) on the Destroyer USS Mullinnix.

Returning to civilian life, Tom worked in the emerging IT industry starting with programming computer systems by punch cards, tapes, to Cobol.

A lover of Monty Python, bourbon, photography, cars, travel, Uno and politically irreverent humor. A difficult but fair man whose motto was “Never have a battle of wits with someone who is unarmed”, he loved a good intellectual discussion.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation on Saturday, March 22nd from 11 – 12 PM at The Venue at Lenola Fire Hall, 229 Lenola Road, Moorestown, NJ 08057 where his memorial service will begin at 12 PM. Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers contributions in Tom’s memory may be made to Lenola Volunteer Fire Company Station 313, 229 Lenola Rd. Moorestown, NJ.
