Cheryl A. Garcia

Suddenly on October 17, 2024, at the age of 69, of Audubon, NJ.  Beloved wife of Jose F. Garcia. Cherished daughter of the late Charles R. Simpkins and Joyce (nee Mangle). Loving mother of Michael S. Garcia (Leslie) of Audubon, NJ, Christopher R. Garcia of Audubon and Cara M. Garcia of Audubon, NJ. Dear sister of Russell S. Simpkins (Gunda) of Westampton, NJ and Laurie R. Kruithof (Jim) of West Deptford, NJ. Also survived by many nieces & nephews and her beloved pets, Brea & Keva and Raven & Sora.

Cheryl was a life-long animal lover, receiving her Associates Degree in Animal Veterinary Sciences. She started her career as a Veterinary Technician at Collingswood Animal Hospital. Recently, as a self-employed Pet Sitter / Walker. She was devoted and gave support to animal causes and charities.  Cheryl also had many pets that she loved and cared for.  Dobermans (Rama, Mysti), adopted Greyhound (Dixi), Border Collies (Skye, Mystic, Brea and Keva). Iguana (Frank), and cats (Tabu, Tiki, Sophie, Kaylee, Sierra, Raven & Sora).  Cheryl loved Chinese and Cuban food.  She very much enjoyed getting together with her girlfriends for coffee, games and vacations.  She and her husband Jose loved traveling to Miami and having meals at Cheryl’s favorite Cuban restaurant Versailles.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Saturday, October 26th from 10 to 11 AM at Jackson Funeral Home, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Twp., NJ, where her funeral service will follow at 11 AM.
