Charles A. Worrell

Charles passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 92, of Westmont, NJ.

Loving husband of 70 years to Myra T. (nee Helms).  Beloved father of Myra M. Tyron (David) of Laurel Springs, June A. Worrell of Cherry Hill, Cathy J. Hicks (Jon) of Atco, Kevin M. Worrell of Clementon, Judith L. Rinier (Stephen) of Barrington, Sandra J. Worrell of Atco and the late Charles D. Worrell. Proud grandfather of Charles Seixas (Angela), Mark Tyron, Harold Chester, Kyle Hicks (Alyssa), Melissa Worrell, Meghan Worrell, Stephen Rinier II, the late Michael Seixas and late John Hicks Jr. Loving great-grandfather of Jon Seixas, James Seixas, Olivia Tryon and Kayla Hicks.

Charles was born December 7, 1930 to the late Anna (nee Rivell) and Edward Worrell in Philadelphia, PA. He was the youngest of 11 children. He was proud to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps. Charles enjoyed his life long career as a computer engineer. He enjoyed playing the organ and other musical instruments. Charles enjoyed being around his family and cherished that time. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed by many.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Tues., Jan. 10 ^th from 11 AM to 12 Noon at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Twp., NJ, where his funeral service will begin at 12 PM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charles’ memory may be made to The Jon T. Hicks Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund.
