Celia Darlene Aruanno

Darlene passed on July 6, 2021, at age 78, with her family by her side, in Windermere, FL, where she spent her winters. She resided in Atlantic City, formerly of National Park, and Fairview, NJ, where she grew up and graduated from Camden High School Class of 1960.

Daughter of the late Gurney B. White and Elsie N. White (nee Hodgins), she was a devoted mother to Janine, Darrell, and Joseph, loving sister of Darrell White of Texas and proud grandmother of Cady Celia, her heart and soul, whom she helped raise since birth.

She worked for over 20 years at Resorts Casino, where she made many lasting friendships. She loved traveling, living at the beach, and her dogs Kobi and the late Bailey. She treasured any time with her family and extraordinary friends.  She remained close with her elementary school friends for 74 years. They shared tight bonds, 62 annual Christmas parties, and great memories of her loyalty, hilarious disobedience, kindness, and wit. Her strength and perseverance were unparalleled. She blessed her family with her unconditional love and time from start to finish. Darlene will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation is Wednesday, July 21 ^st from 10:30 am to 12 pm at Jackson Funeral Home, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Township, NJ, where funeral services will follow at 12 pm.

Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.
