Carolyn C. Moses (nee Miller)
On June 18, 2026, age 89, of Audubon Park, NJ, formerly of Pennsauken, NJ. Beloved wife of the late Randall D. “Randy” Moses. Loving mother of Michele Doran (George) of Haddon Heights, NJ, and the late Michael Moses. Adoring grandmother of Chandler, Carson, and Olivia.
Carolyn was born and raised on a farm in Adams County, Pennsylvania, a place she always lovingly called “up home.” She grew up surrounded by family, with several aunts and an uncle who were like siblings to her. Those early years shaped her lifelong appreciation for family, connection, and a hard work ethic.
As a teenager, Carolyn moved to New Jersey, where she became active in her church and school life, singing in the teen choir at Merchantville Baptist Church, serving as a cheerleader, and graduating from Merchantville High School.
In 1955, Carolyn married the love of her life, Randall “Randy” Moses, and began a new adventure as they moved to Plainview, Texas, where they farmed for several years. They later returned to New Jersey and built their life together in Audubon Park, where they raised their family and became part of a close-knit community.
Carolyn gave her time generously to her church and the Audubon Park community. She served through Cub Scouts, the Board of Education, and the Audubon Park Youth Association, supporting children, families, and programs that were important to her. Her faith guided her life and was reflected in the way she cared for others.
Her greatest joy was caring for others. Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver who lovingly cared for both her husband and her mother. She had a generous heart and often prepared meals for those who were sick, facing hardship, or simply in need of comfort and kindness.
Carolyn enjoyed traveling, camping, hiking, biking, playing dominoes, entertaining, and spending time at the beach. She loved going out to lunch, playing solitaire, and shopping—especially when it meant finding something special for her granddaughter, Olivia.
She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, including ring bologna and caramel popcorn, and she had a style all her own—proudly rocking her track suits with confidence.
Carolyn was known for her kindness, loyalty, generosity, and her sassy spirit. She had a way of making people feel welcome, seen, and cared for in everyday moments that mattered most.
Carolyn leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, laughter, and service. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday June 25th from 6 to 7:30 PM at the JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Township, NJ, where his funeral service will follow at 7:30 PM.
Interment Saturday, June 27th 12 Noon, Center View Cemetery, Biglerville, PA. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Gloucester County Christian School Tuition Assistance Fund https://donorbox.org/tuition_assistance.
