Carol A. Crandley

Carol passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, May 29th, 2025 at her residence, at the age of 80. 

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William “Bill” Crandley; three sons, Stephen Crandley, Mark Crandley (Amanda) and Charles Crandley (Melissa); four grandchildren, Matthew Crandley, Michael Crandley, Clare Crandley, and Nolan Crandley. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Berkeley & Mildred; and her brother Charles Augustine. 

Carol was born and raised in Camden, NJ where she met lifelong friends. She was a graduate and proud alumnus of Camden Catholic High School. She and her husband were relocated to Germany in the 1960s when Bill served in the Army. When they returned from Europe, they set up roots in South Jersey, where Haddon Township became their home for more than forty years. Carol worked as a laboratory technician for a prominent oncology group in South Jersey for more than 30 years, where she worked closely with both doctors and patients being treated for cancer. Carol loved good conversation with friends; whether hosting a dinner party, traveling or just enjoying time with people. She was proud of her New Jersey roots, always enjoying a fresh Jersey tomato or corn in the summer, and taking trips to the shore. 

Family and friends are invited to her Visitation Saturday, June 21st from 9:45 to 10:45 AM, at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Holy Savior Church, 50 Emerald Ave., Westmont, NJ. Eulogy will begin 10:45 AM, followed by her Memorial Service at 11 AM. 

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ.
