Carmela G. Dimaria

Carmela passed peacefully on August 6, 2021, at the age of 74, of Westmont, NJ, formerly of Collingswood, NJ.  

Beloved daughter of the late Michael and Angelina (nee Valente) DiMaria. Dear sister of Jean Hornbostel of Scottsdale, AZ. Sister-in-law of George Hornbostel, Jr. of Collingswood, NJ. Also survived by the DiMaria, Tronco, Valente & Dalesandro families.

Carmela was a Clinical Lab Manager for over 35 years in the Phila. Hospitals. She was a longtime member of the Democratic Club in Haddon Twp. and Camden Co.  Carmela served in many ministries at St. Vincent Pallotti Church, where she was a longtime parishioner. She volunteered at the Cancer Support & Welcome Center at Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center for many years. Carmela was an excellent cook and baker, always making cookies for everyone. She will be dearly missed by all who know her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Saturday, August 14 ^th from 9:30am to 10:45am at Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, St. Vincent Pallotti Church, 901 Hopkins Rd., Haddon Twp., NJ 08033.

Eulogy will begin promptly at 10:45am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11am.

Entombment will be private.
