Brian M. Steffa, Jr.

Brian was tragically killed by a hit and run driver after just attending his grandmother’s funeral in NC, at the age of 30, of Magnolia, NJ.

He is survived by his Father, Brian M. Steffa, Sr, of Vanceboro, NC and Mother, Stacy M. Stosny (née Ensign, Steffa) of Somerdale, NJ, Mom Mom, Maryellen Ensign of Magnolia, NJ, Brother, Timothy M. Steffa, of Somerdale, NJ, Sister, Kiersten M. Steffa of Magnolia, NJ, (Uncle of soon to arrive nephew, Jaxson M. Merrigan), Brother, Brandon M. Steffa of Magnolia, NJ, Nephew, William M. Steffa, Magnolia, NJ, Brother-in-law, Ian M. Merrigan, of Magnolia, NJ and life-long friend and part of his family Byron “BJ” Caraballo of Magnolia, NJ, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, his girlfriend and many, many, close friends.

Brian graduated from Magnolia Public School and Sterling High School. He lived life surrounded by family and friends. They all adored and cherished him. He was the person you would turn to when you needed to talk, cry or you just needed to know you had him in your corner backing you up!  He lived life with no regrets and made sure to put the needs of others before his own.  Brian made sure the people in his life were taken care of before he would take care of himself, even when he was struggling.  He was kind, loving, generous, handsome, funny, full of laughter, selfless and a devoted person up to this tragedy.  Brian loved harder than anyone could imagine and he would always take on the burdens of everyone who was around him. He never wanted any of them to go through it alone. Brian welcomed everyone into his life with open arms, into his home when they needed a place to stay or just to get away from the hardships life threw at them.  He was a one of a kind, son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend who will truly missed by all!

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday, February 19 ^th from 2 to 4 PM, at Jackson Funeral Home, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Township, NJ, where his Celebration of Life will begin at 4 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to a “Go Fund Me” account link: https://gofundme.com/f/brian-steffa-jr made by the family, to be used as reward money to anyone who has any information about the car or driver that will ultimately result in the capture, arrest and conviction of the person who is responsible for Brian’s senseless passing.
