Alvin L. Gil "Gato"

Alvin passed on January 23, 2021, at the age of 58. Loving husband of Shirley Renay (nee Johnston).  Beloved son of the late Waldestrudis & Elba Gil and Dalila & Samuel Bulted. Proud father of Destini Gil (Carmelo Cruz) of Runnemede, NJ and Sherisse Washington (James) of Cape Coral, FL. Dear brother of Lucy A. Maldonado (the late Jose) of Wildwood, NJ, Millie M. Quiles of Runnemede, NJ, Angel L. Bulted (Genie) of Bethlehem, PA and Enrique Bulted (Donette) of Bethlehem, PA.  Adoring grandfather of Carmelo Luis Cruz, Xavier Jose Cruz, James Washington, Cherelle Washington and Jada Washington.  Dear nephew of Florenico Irizarry (Milly) of Linden, NJ , Pablo Irizarry (the late Pat) of Chipley, FL, and the late Theodore Gil of Carteret, NJ. Loving uncle of Chris, John, Alexis, Justin, Julian, Mercedes & Nina.

Gato was a US Air Force Veteran. He was a dedicated truck driver by day and "pop-pop" superhero by night. He loved Marvel movies, funk music, basketball and spending time with his family and friends. He was a Chipotle VIP, steak loving, car enthusiast who was always looking for the highest horsepower in his next car.

Family & friends are invited to attend his visitation Thursday, January 28 ^th from 6 to 8 PM at Jackson Funeral Home, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Township, NJ. Due to the current regulations, face masks must be worn, and attendance will be limited to follow the Covid-19 guidelines .

Funeral service will be private for the family. (Service will be shared on Facebook Live, please like Jackson Funeral Home Page, then go to the page at approx. 10:25 AM to view Family Officiated Service)

All are invited to attend Graveside at 11:30 AM at Locustwood Memorial Park, 1500 Route 70 W., Cherry Hill, NJ. Due to the current regulations, face masks must be worn.
