Alex passed suddenly with his wife by his side on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
Beloved husband of 36 years to Cynthia Nelson Marr. Loving father of Andrea McNulty (Cpt. James McNulty) of Lawton, OK and Melissa Randazzo (Christopher) of Merchantville, NJ. Dear brother of Barbara E. Marr of Holland, PA, Paul R. Marr (Elaine) of Middletown, DE and the late Carol Peglow and Robert Marr. Brother-in-law of Linda A. Nelson and the late Gail Fisher and Andrew Nelson. Also survived by several nieces & nephews and his fur babies Pumpkin, Trixie, and the late Buttons & Ajax.
Alex was a US Army Reserve Veteran, serving from 1993 to 2002. He married his wife Cindy in 1985 and worked as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for 24 years at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Cooper University Hospital for 5 years. After retiring in 2009 he began working for Fluehr Funeral Home in Bensalem and Jackson Funeral Home as a Funeral Assistant. Alex and his wife enjoyed weekends and vacations traveling to their 55 ft. classic Chris Craft motor yacht on the Chesapeake Bay and Sassafras River.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Friday evening, February 4 th from 6-8 PM at Jackson Funeral Home, 308 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, NJ.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 5 th 11 AM at Holy Eucharist Parish, 344 Kresson Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
Interment Park View Cemetery, Medford, NJ.
