Caroline Mary Simpson

October 3, 1908 — December 22, 2006

(Nee Schambacher) Age 98. Passed into the arms of her Lord on December 22, 2006. Daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Schambacher (Nee Gmeiner). She was preceded in death by her husband Aloysius Joseph Simpson in 1959. Dear Mother of Joseph A. Simpson of Camden, NJ and Elizabeth Yaroch and her husband Daniel of California. Dear Grandmother of Dolores Goldbronn and her husband Joseph, Daniel Yaroch and his wife Pamela, Denise Yaroch, David Yaroch, Donna Yaroch, & Douglas Yaroch and wife Emily. Great-Grandmother of Candie Marie and Joseph M. Goldbronn, Daniel A, Aaron, Michael, Adrian, Kyle and Kaitlin Yaroch. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and their families. Caroline was born and raised in the Cramer Hill Section of Camden where she also raised her family. She attended St Joseph’s East Camden School and was a member of St Anthony of Padua Church in Cramer Hill from the time of its opening. She was very active as a volunteer in the early days of the Church and also worked at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. After retirement she volunteered for 13 years at the Hospital. Her last six years were spent at Innova Health and Rehab in Mt. Laurel. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday from 10:30 to 11 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 2818 River Road, Camden, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11AM. Interment U.S. National Cemetery, Beverly, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Innova Hospice, 3718 Church Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054 or the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements by the JACKSON FUNERAL HOME of Westmont, NJ.
