On May 1, 2010, Age 73, of Somerdale, NJ, formerly of Woodlynne, NJ. Beloved husband of Virginia L. Marx (Nee Shook) of Somerdale, NJ. Loving father of George F. Marx, Jr. (Sandy) of Erial, NJ, David J. Marx (Lisa) of Somerdale, NJ and Dannelle Garwood of Sicklerville, NJ. Dear brother of Elsie Morris of Pine Hill, NJ. Grandfather of Samantha, Timothy & Lindsay. George was a volunteer fireman and EMT for over 20 years with Woodlynne Fire Co. and a member of Woodlynne Horseshoe League. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of the AM Legion Post of Oaklyn, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday evening 7to 9 PM, and Thursday morning 10 to 11 AM at the JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Westmont, NJ. Funeral service will follow at 11AM. Interment Locustwood Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
