Mary A. Moran

(Nee Abel) Age 80 of Haddon Township, NJ, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born on June 9, 1929 in Camden, NJ, daughter of the late Anna and John Abel. She is predeceased by her husband Bernard C. Moran. They were married for 57 years and lived in South Jersey where they raised their family and were active in their community. Members of the family include her children, Michael (Lynne) of Westmont, NJ, Dennis (Eileen) of Exeter, NH, and Chip (Donna) of Westmont, NJ, all to whom she was a wonderful mother. Mary was the proud and loving grandmother to Christopher (Amy), Andrew, Ryan (Laura), Adrienne (David), Katelin, Patrick, Alyssa, and Jason as well as the great-grandmother to 4 and one on the way. In addition she is survived by her sister Patricia Phillips and her sisters-in-law Rosemary Romeo and Nancy Erdbrink and brother-in-law Paul Erdbrink. She was the aunt to 4 nephews and 3 nieces. Mary was a graduate of Camden Catholic High School of which she had many life-long friends. She loved her church and all her friends and co-workers at PEPCO in Somerdale, NJ where she worked for most of her life. Mary shared her passion for playing the piano and dancing with her friends and family. She loved her girls club, cousin's club, and family time. Mary lived life with a heart that cared for all and with a smile for everyone. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, March 15, 2010, from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at the Church of the Holy Savior, 50 Emerald Avenue, Westmont, N.J. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ. The family requests contributions in Mary’s memory be made to the Hospice of Moorestown VNA, 300 Harper Dr., Moorestown, NJ 08057.
