Joseph R. Thanner

On Friday, February 3, 2017, age 70, of Paulsboro, NJ.

Beloved husband of Susan (Nee Oksten). Loving father of Ray Thanner, Susan Barker and her husband Jason, Rose (Nee Hess) Bernardo and her husband Keith. Dear brother of Margaret "Margie" Seay.   Grandfather of Freya, Maggie, Anthony, Eric and Cameron. Also survived by his niece Theresa O’Donnell and her husband Michael.

Joe was a Navy Veteran serving on the USS McCaffrey.  He was a former fireman with Haddon Heights and Colonial Manor Fire Companies.  Joe was employed at LaPallos Auto Salvage in Westville for many years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Monday, Feb. 6th from 6 to 8 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Township, NJ 08108.

Funeral services and Interment will be private.
