Elmer Joseph Mulvenna

Surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, January 28, 2017, age 91, of Cherry Hill, formerly of Westmont, NJ.

Beloved husband of Mary Alice (Nee Hughes). Loving father of Marianne Eckert (John), Joseph Mulvenna (Verna), Patricia Lloyd, Kathleen Mulvenna, Eileen Goldstein (Harvey), Barbara Mulvenna, Kevin Mulvenna, Patrick Mulvenna (Patricia), Ellen Valeriano (Jan) and Brian Mulvenna (Nancy). Dear brother of Edward Mulvenna, Robert Mulvenna and the late Dorothy Fisher, Elizabeth McCafferty and George Mulvenna. Proud grandfather of 21 and great grandfather of 17.

Elmer was a US Navy Veteran serving from 1943-1945. He served in WWII in the South Pacific on Navy Ship LST #736.  Elmer was quick to smile, loved his family freely, and was greatly loved in return.  He will be missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thurs., Feb. 2 ^nd from 6 – 8:30 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Twp., NJ 08108, and visitation, Fri., Feb 3 ^rd from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish HOLY SAVIOUR CHURCH, 50 Emerald Ave., Westmont, NJ 08108. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM.
