Betty R. Kibalo

(Nee Mote) Age 85, passed away suddenly and peacefully Saturday evening, July 18, 2009. Wife of the late John Kibalo. Beloved mother of: John Michael Kibalo and his wife Laura; Thomas Henry Kibalo and his wife Deborah; and Irene Ann Kibalo. Loving Grandmother of Jennifer, Zora, Benjamin, Jeremy, Andrea, and Nadine. Betty was born in Magnolia, MS, the daughter of William and Stella Mote, and sister to Bruce Mote, Roy Mote, and Hilda Brit. She earned a bachelors of science in nursing from St. Joseph’s University and resided in New York for over fifty years. Betty had a successful nursing career that included being Head Nurse at Long Island College Hospital and Nursing Director at Woodhull Hospital. Relatives and friends are invited to her graveside service on Tuesday, July 21, 2009, 1 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd. Calverton, NY 11933.
