Rita T. Imondi-Acker

(Nee Rambone) of Westmont, NJ, age 77, passed away suddenly on October 9, 2016.

Beloved and devoted wife of Francis Acker, loving mother of Carole (the late Robert), Laura (Michael), Mary Beth (Steve), Michael, and also Denise (Rich), Michael (Alicia) and Lisa. She was the doting grandmother of Ericka, Ian, Marc, Michelle, Brendan, Kevin and Kelly. She is also survived by her loving brother Anthony (Tomi) Rambone and many nieces and nephews who adored her. Rita and Frank were devout members of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and took part in many church events. They traveled frequently to California and Arizona and cruised dream destinations to Alaska and the Mediterranean. Besides spending time with her soulmate Frank, Rita’s other great joys in life were her grandchildren and cooking Italian dinners. Holidays and family dinners will never be the same without seeing Rita’s smiling face and her in her apron.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday, October 14th from 7 - 9 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Township, NJ.

Her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 15th 10 am at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 43 W Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ.

Interment will be private at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in memory of Rita.
