Irene M. Aungst

(Nee Jackson) On May 26, 2009, Age 67, of Cherry Hill, NJ. Loving Companion of the late Dominick A. Montesano. Beloved sister of Franklin P. Jackson, 4th and loving sister-in-law of Patricia A. Jackson of Westmont, NJ. Dear Aunt of Frank Jackson, 5th (Ginny), Scott Jackson, Chuck Jackson (Stacey) and Terri Rodgers (Erick). Great Aunt of Christy, Frankie, Stephen, Kyle, Emily & Ashleigh Jackson and Erick & Tyler Rodgers. Irene was born in Camden and raised in Westmont, NJ. She graduated Collingswood High School Class of 1959. Irene graduated from Glassboro State College in 1963 and was a member of the NJEA from 1963 until her retirement in 1999. She was an elementary school teacher at Pennsauken School No. 5, Delair Elementary and Central Elementary where she was Head Teacher. Funeral Services are private. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions in Irene’s memory be made to the American Lung Association, 1600 Route 22 East, Union, NJ 07083.
