Althea R. Hurd

(Nee Kinkade), Age 81, of Westmont, NJ. Loving wife of the late Wayne E. Hurd. Beloved mother of Althea R. Hyde (Michael Martin) of Haddonfield, NJ, JacLynne E. Frister (Walter) of Rio, WV and Michael W. Hurd (Myra Steczynsky) of Grenloch, NJ. Dear sister of Virginia Brody (Martin) of Deptford, NJ, and Dolly Bull (Stephen) of Amarillo, TX. Grandmother of Michael W. Hurd, Jr. (Marie Ruggiero). Great-grandmother of Michael W. Hurd, III. Althea volunteered at Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury for many years. She was a longtime member of the Westmont United Methodist Church and sang in the choir more than 50 yrs. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday from 9:30 to 11 AM at the WESTMONT UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 200 Emerald Ave., Westmont, NJ, 08108, followed by funeral services at 11 AM. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions in Althea’s memory may be made to Westmont United Methodist Church.
