Eve G. Jacoby

(nee Gilbert) On May 22, 2009, Age 79, of Westmont, NJ, formerly of Collingswood, Haddonfield and Cape May, NJ. Beloved mother of Cheryl Cushman and Kenneth Jacoby, Jr. Dear sister Daphne Roos, the late Harry Gilbert and the late Marjorie Wulforst. Preceded in death by her parents Daphne & Arthur Gilbert. Loving grandmother of Richard Cushman, Jr. (Jaime Rusin), Andrew Cushman (Lindsay), Valerie Cushman (Lance Bowers), and Kenneth Jacoby, III. Great grandmother of Avrie Michelle (Mrs. Choo) Cushman. Eve was happiest with her feet in the sand in Cape May and her family close by. She was a graduate of Haddonfield High School, where she was a standout field hockey player. Eve worked at Crest Lanes and the Westmont Thrift Drug. She was a decade-long resident of Coles Mill Landing. Eve was most at home in the kitchen. She was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan, and was thrilled with the World Series win. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation, Wednesday 10 - 11 AM at the JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Avenue, Westmont, NJ 08108. Services will follow at 11AM.
