Robert Lee Kirkbride, Sr.

On April 22, 2016, Age 71, of Haddon Township, NJ.

Beloved husband of Joan E. (Nee Burke). Loving father of Robert L. Kirkbride Jr. (Lori) of Woodbury Heights, NJ, Rachel L. Cicalese (Michael) of Haddon Heights, NJ, and the late Austin J. Kirkbride. Loving grandfather of Robert Burness, Erin L. Kirkbride, Lindsey C. Cicalese, and Lacey A. Cicalese. Great-grandfather of Hadley A. Burness. Survived by his siblings Bill Kirkbride, Mary Busch, Charles Kirkbride, Delores Connelly, sister-in-law Betty Hertensteiner, sister-in-law Patsy Donelson, and brother-in-law Billy Burke. He was preceded in death by his siblings Jack Kirkbride, Harry Kirkbride, Freda Kirkbride, and his brother-in-law Myles Burke.

Robert served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a retired Camden City Police Detective and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He was a member of American Legion, and a former member of the Bellmawr Fire Department.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services Saturday, April 30th, 11 AM at Harleigh Cemetery, Main Mausoleum, 1640 Haddon Ave., Camden, NJ 08103.
