Ursula C. Fuchs

(Nee Hoffman) On March 20, 2016, of Oaklyn NJ, formerly of Vockenhausen, Germany, surrounded by her loving family, was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven at age 77.

Beloved mother of Cynthia M. Settles (Steven) of Haddon Township, NJ, Theresa M. Mitchell (Walter) of Barnsboro, NJ, and Lisa D. Riley (Steven) of Mantua, NJ. Dear sister of Gretel Seeling of Frankfurt Germany, Crystal Derry of Texas and Bernd Weinand (Birgit) of County Clare, Ireland. Adoring Omi to Kierstin M. Kratchwell (nee Mitchell) (Joe), Amarie C. Mitchell, Elisha M. Mitchell, Shaun S. Riley, Erin L. Riley, Eric G. Riley, Erin L. Settles, Kevin P. Settles and Bridget H. Settles. Also survived by George M. Fuchs.

Ursula loved being outdoors in her garden, walking her beloved dog “Mr. Budds”, going to the ballet, plays, concerts, the Outer Banks but most of all, spending time “with her girls”. She loved her son’s in-law and lovingly referred to them as “Mr. Mom, Wally by Golly and Sattler”. This feisty German woman had no problem telling you exactly what was on her mind and she shared those thoughts with her family on a regular basis! Ursula was a HUGE inspiration to her daughters & family, and in recent years many of the doctors and nurses who cared for her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday from 10 to 11:30AM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, NJ, followed by her Funeral service at 11:30AM.

Interment will be private.
