Benjamin Franklin Watts, Iii

On December 30, 2015, age 85, of Westmont, NJ.

Beloved husband of Esther Jacobs- Watts (Nee Madie) and the late Rae A. Watts (Nee Bonatti). Loving father of Benjamin F. Watts, IV (Louise) of Haddon Twp., NJ, Michael S. Watts (Kathy) of Ocala, FL, Susan E. Hanna of Claymont, DE, Cheryl Viscomi of Phila., PA, and Brian Jacobs (Lisa) of Haddonfield, NJ. Dear grandfather to thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Ben was a US Army Veteran, retired Sergeant First Class, who served for 20 years, including tours of duty in Korea and Vietnam where he was twice wounded in combat and awarded the Purple Heart. He was a Mason and member of the Westmont Lions Club, serving in multiple positions. Ben a long time member of Holy Saviour Church, where he served as head usher for many years. He was also a member of Kiwanis. His service to the Country and charitable organizations made him an inspiration for many.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Sunday evening from 7 – 9 PM and Monday from 9:30-10 AM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Township, NJ.

Graveside service 11 AM at New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
