Chef Kevin David Myers

On August 2, 2015, Age 49, of Marmora, NJ, formerly of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ. Devoted husband and best friend of Marisa Myers (nee Barile). Loving father of Cara & Lia Myers. Dear Son-in-law of MaryAnn (late Robert) Barile. Beloved brother of Willis Getchell (Linda) of Phoenix, AZ, Thomas S. Myers (Michelle) of Mays Landing, NJ, Richard S. Myers (Kim Pierce) of Haddon Twp., NJ, Donald P. Myers (Mary) of Margate, NJ and brother-in-law of Mark Rusas (Nicole) of Basking Ridge, NJ. Uncle of Ryan, Matthew, Greg, Katie, Chris, Stephen, Megan, Pamela, and Sara Myers, & Kristen, Mark, & Lauren Rusas. He is also survived by his beloved German Shepherds, Backup & Bailey, and his cats Bojangles & Peanut. Kevin was the eldest of triplets born to the late Jarvis J. & Sophie P. Myers.

Kevin, Rich, & Don graduated from Mainland Regional HS in 1984. Kevin proudly served as a Chef for over 30 years, working at Trump Castle & The Flanders Hotel and most recently at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa as a Garde Manger Chef. Chef Kevin put his heart into his work, and will be remembered for his dedication and work ethic in the kitchen, and was respected by all. There is nothing Kevin loved more than his family, especially his girls, and the NY Yankees.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday, August 6th, from 6 – 9PM, and Friday, August 7th, 9:30 – 11:15AM at Church of the Resurrection of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 200 West Tuckahoe Road, Marmora, NJ 08223, followed by his Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 AM. Interment Seaside Cemetery, Marmora, NJ.
