David "Gregory" Hoffa

March 13, 1965 — May 2, 2015

On May 2, 2015, after a long and courageous battle with cancer Greg passed peacefully with his loving and devoted wife Bonnie by his side.

Greg is survived by his wife Bernadette (Bonnie) Dailey Hoffa; his caring and wonderful mother Mildred M. Hoffa and his Father and favorite fishing partner David W. Hoffa (Shirlee Miller).

Greg is also survived by his sisters Cynthia McWilliams (Mark) of Seattle, WA, Deborah Reid (Brian) of Audubon, PA and Lorraine Owens (Michael) of Downingtown, PA., and his in-laws, Michael Dailey (Mary Carol), Patricia Dailey Lewis (Lawrence), Mark Dailey( Kim), Thomas Dailey (Ruth Ann), Paul Dailey (Christina), and Mary Dailey Wollman (John Baranes); and his beloved aunt, Catherine Cole (Roy Kegerise).

Among the greatest joys of Greg's life were the times spent with his nieces and nephews, who he loved without condition. Along with Bonnie, attending their games, concerts and graduations; at times when cancer took his energy, it never took his pride in the children he loved so much. Left to cherish those memories are Austen and Lindsey Reid; Alexa, John Michael, Dalton and Daniel Owens; Bridget, Matthew, Kathleen, Mark, Katelyn, Kristin, Cecelia, PJ, Sean and Jack Dailey, Sam and Jacob Wollman and Madison and Peter Baranes.

A graduate of Cabrini College, Greg worked for the Vanguard Group for 28 years where he leaves behind many friends and colleagues. Greg was a talented fisherman who took third place in the White Marlin Open, one of his proudest moments.

The three great loves of Greg's life were his family, ice hockey, and fishing with his Dad. We know that Greg is looking at us from heaven uttering his favorite phrase... "Don't sweat the small stuff."
Services to celebrate Greg's life will be on Friday May 8, 2015 at the St. Matthew's Methodist Church, 600 Walker Rd., Wayne, PA. Visitation will be from 10am until 11am; the service will begin at 11am.

A special thank you to the doctors at Penn Medicine, especially Dr. Kelly Spratt, Dr. Tracy S. d'Entremont, and Dr. Joshua Jones.
