(Nee Epting) On December 21, 2005, of Haddon Township, NJ, age 99. Beloved wife of 52 years of the late Anthony (Tony) Albrecht. Loving Aunt of Mary Kay Crowther, Bill Epting, Frederick Epting and Alice Floge.
Dorothy was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Haddon Township in 1910. She graduated from Collingswood High School in 1923 and went on to be a member of the first graduating class of the New Glassboro Normal School in 1925, now known as Rowan University, with a B.A. in Education. She taught grade school in Haddon Township for 19 years. In the 80's she became interested in "Focus on Literacy" and taught 3 adults to read. Dorothy and her husband owned Albrecht Flowers in Westmont. Her wishes are to donate her body to science and will later be buried next to her beloved husband Tony. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the Philadelphia Zoo or the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia, 2125 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
