Douglas W. Harper, Sr. "Dougie Fresh"

Suddenly on February 24, 2015, Age 57, of Westmont, NJ.

Loving father of Christine L. O’Malley (Andrew) of Logan, NJ and Douglas W. Harper, Jr., of Port St. Lucie, FL. Beloved son of the Franklin W. “Bud” Harper and the late Sara Harper (Nee Johnson). Dear brother of Barbara H. Davidson (James B., Jr.) of Dumont, NJ. “Papa D” of Grace Annabelle O’Malley. Dear friend of Kathleen Ryan.

Doug was a former owner of the John E. Allen Insurance Agency, of Atlantic City, NJ, and a member of the Atlantic City Country Club. He was a longtime volunteer of the H T Seahawks Swim Team and was also an avid fisherman and beach lover.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Friday from 11AM to 12 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Twp., NJ, followed by his funeral service at 12 Noon.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the Harper family requests donations in Doug's memory be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, 370 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10001.
