Albert R. Blundin

On November 5, 2008, Age 85, of Magnolia, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA. Beloved husband of Elizabeth M. Blundin (Nee Stoner). Loving father of Janet M. McManus (Bob) of Barrington, NJ and Alan R. Blundin of Haddon Twp., NJ. Dear Grandfather of Brian P. McManus, Jeffrey R. McManus and Shawn P. McManus. Albert was an Eagle Scout and later served with the US Navy in the Seabees. He was a Journeyman Apprentice Machinist for 5 years, worked for Curtis Publishing for 23 years, and later retired as V.P. of Perfect Mailing Services of Phila., PA after 25 years. Albert was a US patent holder for specialized machine parts, a member of the Magnolia Historical Society and part of a group of master craftsman on the Magnolia Train Station renovation project. Albert was also a longtime active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday morning from 10:30 am to 12:15 pm at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 201 N. Warwick Rd., Magnolia, NJ 08049. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 pm at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions in Albert’s memory may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
