Surrounded by family on October 31, 2014, Age 69, of Haddon Township, NJ, formerly Glendora, NJ & Philadelphia, PA, Sam passed peacefully into the arms of God.

Beloved husband of Sandra S. (Nee Richards). Loving step-father of Kurt, Jr. (Angela), Kristen, Kody, & Keaton Schneider and Tara Cerquoni. Dear brother of the late Michael DeDonatis. Adoring Pop-Pop of Kurt, III & Cole. Dear uncle of Anthony (Elizabeth) and Damien DeDonatis. Also survived by several aunts and cousins.

Sam served in both the Vietnam and Persian Gulf Wars, receiving numerous medals and commendations throughout his illustrious 40 year career in the United States Navy. He was an active member of The Lutheran Church of Our Savior, the American Legion Post #17 of Collingswood, the Westmont Lions Club and Amateur Radio Club call #WB2BWL.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday from 9 to 11AM at THE LUTHERAN CHURCH OF OUR SAVIOR, 204 Wayne Ave., Haddonfield, NJ, followed by his funeral service at 11AM.

Interment with Full Military Honors will take place at a future time. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sam’s memory may be made to the Church.
