John Peter Postick

Went home to be with the Lord on October 10, 2008, age 83, of Haddon Twp., NJ. Son of the late Joseph & Valeria Postich. Beloved husband of 53 years to Mary P. Postick (Nee Purnell). Dear brother of Mary Johnson of Chester, PA, Anna Maene of Pleasantville, NJ, the late Joseph M. Postich and the late Captain Fred Postich US Army Ret. Also survived by two nieces & three nephews. John was a US Navy Veteran and served during WWII on the USS Intrepid Aircraft Carrier. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Collingswood. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday morning from 9:30 - 10:45 AM at the First Baptist Church of Collingswood, 23 Frazer Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108, where his funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the First Baptist Church of Collingswood or the charity of the donor’s choice.
