Helen M. Rugart

(Nee Ovens) On Sept. 4, 2008, Age 83, of Westmont, NJ, passed away at Cadbury of Cherry Hill, NJ. Beloved wife of Carl L. Rugart, Jr. for 61 wonderful years. Devoted mother of Sandra Howe and her husband Brant, of Arnold, MD. Dear Grandmother of Jessica Grace Rugart Howe. Helen was born in Phila. PA and lived in Newtown Sq., PA. She was a graduate of Marple-Newtown High School class of 1942. Helen worked in the Treasury Department of the Pennsylvania Railroad where she met her husband. She was happiest when she was in her kitchen and had a good reputation for her cooking skills. Helen was an active member of the Dr. Ralph Warwick Chapter of the West Jersey Hospital Women’s Aux., where she served several terms as President. She was a longtime member of the Grace Baptist Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday morning from 9:30AM to 10:15AM at the Grace Baptist Church, 23 Reeve Ave., Westmont, NJ 08108, where funeral services will follow at 10:30AM. Interment, Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions in Helen’s memory may be made to the Grace Baptist Memorial Fund.
