Sara J. "Sally" Harper

(Nee Johnson) passed away peacefully at home with her family on July 21, 2014, Age 84, of Westmont, NJ.

Beloved wife of the Franklin W. “Bud” Harper. Loving mother of Barbara H. Davidson (James B., Jr.) of Dumont, NJ and Douglas W. Harper, Sr. of Westmont, NJ. Dear grandmother of Spencer J. Davidson, Travis H. Davidson, Christine O’Malley (Andrew) and Douglas W. Harper, Jr. Great grandmother of Grace AnnaBel O’Malley.

Sally was born the youngest of five sisters in Ashland, NJ to the late Anna and Lloyd Johnson. She graduated from Haddonfield High School in 1948 and attended the University of Pennsylvania's Secretarial School. Sally was an active member of many Haddon Township volunteer groups. She was the President of the Haddon Township PTA, a Girl Scout leader, Recreation Softball Coach and Manager and an Officer of the Annual Fourth of July Festivities for the town. She served on the Cherry Hill Board of Directors of the AARP #1968. Sally was also the Vice President of the John E. Allen Agency, located in Atlantic City, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday morning from 10 to 11 AM at the FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF HADDONFIELD, 20 Kings Hwy. E., Haddonfield, NJ 08033, followed by funeral services at 11AM.

Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill.
