Margaret was born on March 20, 1920 to David and Louise (nee Shartel) Smith of Mt Laffee, Pa. Loving wife of the late Robert J. Lunt.
Beloved mother of Robert D. Lunt (Jeanne) of Haddon Twp, NJ, Richard L. Lunt (Gail) of Deptford, NJ, Maureen Boldurian (Jack) of Southampton, NJ, David E. Lunt (Mariann) of Collingswood, NJ, and the late James J. Lunt (Vincentine) of Southampton, NJ. Dear sister of Eileen Melochick (Jack) of Pottsville, PA and the late David Smith, Dolores McMenamin and Alfred Smith.
Adoring grandmother and great grandmother of Lori Ann Garrison , her husband Daniel of Cherry Hill, NJ and their children Daniel and Ian, Lisa Dawn DiAngelo, her husband Phillip of Westmont, NJ, and their children Gina and Vincent, Robert David Lunt, his partner Al of Collingswood, NJ, Mark William Lunt, his wife Lauren of Arizona and their children Matthew and Molly, Kimberly Ann DeLuca, her husband Robert of Marlton, NJ, and their children RJ and Joseph, Tina Ann Bernard, her husband Scott of Mt Laurel, NJ, and their children Zachary, Colton, Kayla, James Joseph Lunt, his wife Janet of Washington Twp, NJ, and their children Samantha and Nicholas, Deena Louise Lunt-Chando of Mantua, NJ, and her children CJ and Ashlee, Richard Lee II, his wife Debbie of Monroe Twp., NJ, and their children Tyler and Natalie.
Also survived by special nieces & nephews, Mary Eileen Klatko, Kathleen Wolf, Jack Melochick and Donald Melochick.
Margaret spent much of her early life at St Francis Orphanage in Orwigsburg Pa. until she was old enough to take her brothers and sisters home with her to raise them. She worked at Yellow Cab in Philadelphia for many years as a dispatcher. Margaret loved to sew and crochet and even left a legacy for her yet unborn Great-Great Grandchildren by crocheting baby afghans for them.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Visitation Saturday, March 22, from 9:30 to 10:30 am at PROTESTANT COMMUNITY CHURCH / CATHEDRAL OF THE WOODS, 100 Stokes Rd., Medford Lakes, NJ 08055, Memorial service will follow at 10:30am.
