(Nee Bright) On April 10, 2008, Age 89, of Westmont, NJ. Beloved wife of the late Walter L. Friend. Loving mother of Janet F. Christman and her husband Wayne of Phila., PA, Jeanne Capell of Pitman, NJ and her Son-in-law Joseph Capell of Washington Twp., NJ. Grandmother of Evin and Aaron Christman and Bryan Capell. Dear aunt to several nieces & nephews. Thelma was a member of the Grace Baptist Church for 86 years, where she was a longtime dedicated greeter. She was also a member of the Senior Citizens Assoc. of Haddon Twp. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 10:45 AM at Grace Baptist Church, 23 Reeve Ave., Westmont, NJ, 08108 where funeral services will follow at 11 AM. Interment, New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the Grace Baptist Memorial Fund.
