James Scott Burns

On May 11, 2013, Age 57, of Haddon Township, NJ. Beloved husband of Kate M. Burns (Nee Douaihy). Loving Father of Matthew T. Burns, Thomas B. Burns and J. Kieran Burns all of Haddon Township. Brother of Robert E. Burns and Kerry M. Burns. Scott graduated from Haddon Township High School Class of 1974. He then graduated from East Carolina University. He worked as a Sales Representative in the Electronics Industry for over 20 years. He loved officiating softball and baseball games. He was a member of Collingswood Presbyterian Church where he was ordained as a Deacon and actively worked with the IHOC ministry. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 AM at Collingswood Presbyterian Church, 30 Fern Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108, followed by funeral services at 10:30AM. The family requests contributions in James Scott’s memory may be made to the church.
