On March 20, Age 83, of Pennsauken, NJ. Dear Brother of Charles K. Dowdney, Sr. of Maple Shade, NJ. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Albert served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a devout member of the Prison Ministry at Riverfront Prison in Camden, NJ for many years playing music for the inmates. Albert served as a member of the Gideon Ministry for years delivering Bibles to various hospitals and prisons. He was an active member of the Disabled Veterans of America. Albert enjoyed walks in the area and to the center of town. He was a proud man who loved the Lord and was quick to share the Gospel. God gifted him to play the organ and piano as though the Angels were sitting at his side. The music and hymns he played will be deeply missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday morning from 9:30AM to 11AM at the PENNSAUKEN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 3541 Pennsylvania Ave., Pennsauken, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 11AM. Interment Arlington Park Cemetery, Pennsauken, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions in Albert’s memory may be made to Pennsauken United Methodist Church.
