On January 28, 2012, Age 85. Beloved husband of Mary L. Griffeth (Nee Loper). Devoted Father of Patti Scharff (Jim) of Collingswood, NJ, David Griffeth (Maureen) of Cherry Hill, NJ, and Alan Griffeth (Joyce) of Lanoka Harbor, NJ. Loving Grandfather of Stephen Scharff, Katie Scharff, Suzanne Scharff, Vanessa Feliciano, Sam Griffeth, and the late Bryan Griffeth. Dear Brother of Jean Bushnell of Malvern, PA and Youlden Griffeth of Olathe, KS. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Parker was a lifelong resident of Haddonfield and graduated from Haddonfield High School Class of 1943. He served in the US Army during WW II and was a member of the American Legion Post 38 of Haddonfield. He was a second generation owner of Griffeth Electric and was a member of the Haddonfield Business Assoc. He was a Master Mason of the Rising Son Lodge #15 F&AM of Haddonfield and served on the Haddonfield Planning Board. He actively served the Haddon Fire Company #1 with honor for 65 years holding several offices including Vice-President, Trustee, Trustee Chairman, Company Secretary and Secretary of the Volunteer Fireman’s Relief Assn. Services and interment are private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Parker’s memory may be made to the Camden County Hero Scholarship Fund, 191 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009.
