Jane Veronica Kappel

(Nee Lydon) On January 4, 2011, Age 78, of Westmont, NJ. Beloved wife of 54 years to John “Jack” Kappel. Loving mother of John (Linda) Kappel, Anne Marie Kappel, Margie Kappel, Bob (Lisa) Kappel, and Maureen “Mimi” (Mark) Gallicchio. Dear sister of Julia Lydon, Barbara (Eric) Riedel and Kevin (Sally) Lydon. Devoted grandmother of John & Patricia, Jessica & Rebecca, and Shannon & Ryan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins. Jane graduated from West Catholic Girls High School, class of 1949, and graduated from Fitzgerald-Mercy School of Nursing in 1953. She began her career at the Veteran’s Hospital in Philadelphia and retired as a nurse from the American Red Cross. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday from 10 AM to 12 noon at ST. VINCENT PALLOTTI CHURCH, 901 Hopkins Rd., Haddon Twp, NJ, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr. In lieu of flowers the family requests prayers for Jane, or perform a charitable act in her name.
